In July 2006, my grandfather Nickoli Nelsen passed away unexpectedly. A friend of mine heard the song "Praise You In This Storm" by Casting Crowns on the radio and shared it with me. Music is a very fond memory I have of my father, Frederick Nelsen, who passed away Oct. 11, 2007. Tonight I was trying to find a song for my page and came across this Casting Crowns song. As I was looking at my page there were two Bible verses of the day that seem very appropriate.
Psalm 34:18 The LORD is close to the brokenhearted and saves those that are crushed in spirit.
and
Psalm 37:4 Delight yourself in the Lord and he will give you the desires of your heart.
